Hampton tourney declares winners

Among the age-class winners at the Aug. 18-19 Hampton junior tennis tournament were (from left) Byron Henderson, Colby Craig, Daniel Blake and Geoff Wilson. Henderson of Hampton won under-12 boys by defeating Hielke Moore 7-6, 6-4. Craig of St. George took U14 boys over Rene Comeau 6-1, 6-3. Blake of Hampton downed Craig in U16 boys 6-0, 6-1 while Wilson, also of Hampton, defeated Brett Stewart 7-5, 6-2 in the U18 boys final. Other winners included Lynda Rogers in U14 girls and U16 girls, and Jacob Boyd in U10 boys.
