Public to weigh in on forestry's future

SUSSEX - A public meeting here Sept. 18, will provide an opportunity for those with an interest in forestry's future to hear from the authors of two provincial forest reports.

The public information session will be held from 7-9 p.m. at Sussex Regional High School.

Report authors Thom Erdle of the University of New Brunswick and Don Roberts of CIBC will be at this session and others in Saint Leonard, Dalhousie, Miramichi and Nackawic.

Their reports, Management Alternatives for New Brunswick's Public Forest and Future Opportunities for the Forest Products Industry in New Brunswick, were released Aug. 27.
