Laurin leads way with gold

SACKVILLE -
Four members of the Anderson School of Highland Dancers have been named to the 2008 provincial team for the Canadian championships in Victoria, B.C.
The four dancers punched their tickets to the July nationals after their impressive performances at the May 3 provincials in Sackville.
Sadie Laurin won the premier class for ages 7-9 and Elizabeth Anderson was first runner-up in the 10-11 premier class.
Lindsay Gaunce was first runner-up in the 16-17 premier championship and Breannah Tweedie was second runner-up in the 16-17 premier championship.
Three of the Sussex group's pre-premier dancers competed with Esmee Setzke bringing home first, second and third-place medals in the beginner category.
Victoria Simm earned third and fourth-place medals (and achieved her last novice win so she moves up a competitive level to intermediate) and Hannah Rae Chadwick was fourth in the intermediate category.
