Baseball shrine opens

SAINT JOHN -

Baseball New Brunswick opens its new hall of fame location this weekend at the Reversing Falls Garden Restaurant.

The official opening is May 17 at the restaurant. The day begins at 10 a.m. with a meet and greet as well as light refreshments (sandwiches and beverages).

The official ribbon cutting ceremony is at 10:45 a.m. followed by the hall of fame game between the host Lancaster Expos and the Chatham Junior Ironmen at 1 p.m. at Memorial Field.
