Thumbs Up to local businesses that recycle metals and conserve machinery, utensils and parts for re-use in farm and industrial equipment. It's an "inconvenient truth" that it's not all shiny new tractors. We all have to recycle and re-use the resources that we have taken from the planet and think about how we treat Mother Earth. Thumbs Down to people who walk down country roads and continue to walk side by side even when there is traffic in both lanes. Submitted

Thumbs Down to whoever is lighting all the grass fires and distracting firefighters from their real jobs. Submitted

Thumbs Down to people of Montreal who used the hockey victory celebrations as an excuse to cause trouble. Submitted

Thumbs Down to the monkey thief in Saint John. The Cherry Brook Zoo was broken into and a monkey was stolen, but thankfully a call to police a couple of days later helped them locate April and return her to the zoo. Submitted

Thumbs Down to people who buy a lovely headstone saddle for their departed loved one and fill it with flowers, and then never come back to clean up the debris. Submitted
