Battling erosion

A section of Trout Creek behind the RBC Royal Bank and Tim Hortons in downtown Sussex got some TLC recently when the Kennebecasis Watershed Restoration Committee carried out a riverbank stabilization project. Heavy equipment was used to put heavy rock in place to protect the south side of the river, where erosion had removed about 250 square feet of riverbank last year.
