KINGS COUNTY -

Customers of Co-op Fuels in the Sussex area will enjoy access to several new services thanks to the sale of bulk fuels operation and its gas bar by Sussex & Studholm Agriculture Society #21 to Co-op Fuels, a division of Co-op Atlantic.

"This agreement will allow Co-op Fuels to offer our members and customers great new opportunities, while maintaining everything that they enjoy now with the service," said Dave Arsenault, manager of Sussex & Studholm Agriculture Society #21.

"Plus, as part of the Co-op system, they can maintain their support for this important community-focused movement."

Co-op Fuels will maintain the same local staff, pricing structure and services. In addition, they will soon begin offering home heating equipment and service in Sussex, including Cansolair and Viessmann solar panels.

The Sussex Co-op Fuels offices will be renovated and will include a showroom for the products that will be available.

The Sussex Co-op Fuels gas bar will also be open on Sundays, beginning Sept. 14.

"We are excited to be able to offer the people of the greater Sussex area, expanded services at our Sussex Co-op Fuels operation," Arsenault said.

Co-op Energy provides service to 38 gas bar/convenience locations and 14 home heating oil operations throughout Atlantic Canada.
