The Sussex Middle School cast of Alice in Wonderland wrapped up a string of successful shows Saturday at the Sussex Regional High School auditorium.

Alice in Wonderland hit the stage at Sussex Regional High School last week, a production of students, teachers, staff and volunteers of Sussex Middle School.

Music teacher and play director Kyle McDavid had this to say about the production:

"Whoooo are yoooou?" The Caterpillar's question is one that all middle school students ask themselves and often have difficulty finding an answer to. It's a tough time in their lives. Just like Alice, they're confronted with daily doses of confusion and weird growth spurts.

They're thrown down the rabbit hole headfirst to deal with strange new situations and thoughts. This group of 46 students has brought such a wonderful sense of play, imagination and humour to Lewis Carroll's fantastical world and I hope they leave this experience having come a bit closer to answering the question, "Whooooo are Yoooou?"
