Sussex Corner Elementary celebrated June 18 as the entire school (students and staff) boarded the buses at 8:30 a.m., and followed by a convoy of parents, headed to Hampton Bible Camp for a day of celebration. The SCES community wanted to recognize and thank everyone for putting their best effort into the past school year.

District 6's Celebrate What's Right with the World initiative demonstrates how we improve all areas of our lives, when we are intentional about celebrating what's right with the world.

Activities were numerous horse rides, archery, relays, tug-of-war, nature hikes and lunch followed by a summer treat on the lawn. The sun may not have been shining but the smiles and the eyes of the children certainly were.
